A new season on the lake.

Well Mom, and Dad both seem to have mixed feelings about this coming winter here on the lake. Moms really worried about getting snowed in dad talks about all the tunnels we're gonna build in the deep snow, he even mentioned something about a bob sled track down the stairs to the lake. Dad is happy he is starting a new job this week and should be making good money quickly. I can't wait for the snow, moms got me all decked out in snow gear except for boots they're being shipped. Well here is a bit about me. Mom is considering me for renaming, she thinks I should be called Katrina. I don't get it, but mom, and dad sure find it funny. I am starting to put a few 2-3 word sentences together, I will tell mom or dad when its bedtime. I think they are trying to potty train, but they don't have a clue, HAHAHAHAHA!! My vocabulary is vast and if I don't know what something is I WILL MAKE SURE to ask what it is. I throw tantrums now when things get taken away that I want, man that really steams me! I pretty much am just a really busy busy busy busy. . . ... . .. . .. .. .. ,oh sorry mind wondering, busy little person. Well dinner is ready so I gotta go love al lmy fans so you all soon I hope.

Aly's Height and Weight Update

Aly now weighs just over 21 lbs.
Aly's height is now 29".

Mom says I'll probably be taller than her. I'm already half her height. LOL!!

The difference between 9 and 11 months old!

I have gotten quite the vocabulary I'll try to put them all down, here we go: Dada, Hi Dada, mom, yum-yum, light, YEAHHHHHHHH!! (with Applause), hi (with a wave), dog, hi dog, Saysay, Hi Saysay, Jayde, Hi Jayde, hot, hat, outside (just today),lake (also today). Now of course there may be some naysayers, but I can point to and name all items people and pets. Of course they are not plan spoken english but I get about half of the phonics right. Every now and again I get a really good pronunciation and it turns head so I giggle, clap, and cheer. I've been able to spend a lot of time with Jayde lately, oh how I don't want her out of my sight, Hehehe hehe. She is just a way fun person she plays with me and my toys. I think she might be a double agent for mom and dad, but who cares she so much fun!! I'm gonna go climb all over her til I fall asleep. Goodnight everyone.

More teeth

I have 2 teeth coming in at once, this is not fun. Mom and Dad both have gotten sick this weekend, its really no fun here right now. I don't understand this PAIN and it makes me cranky oh so cranky!! I met Harmon, my cousin last week, cool kid. I'm sure we will have fun growing up together. Dad and Jayde were flying kites the other day I was simply amazed, and quickly learned the word kite, or my version of it "DITE". I confused my parents one day I screamming for the dite and they kept looking up at the light above me and saying yes light, only later when I started throwing a fit and pointing outside did dad finally figure it out. They took me outside for a walk dad grabbed the kite and I'm in heaven, man I love watching that thing fly how cool is that, whats holding it up? Some how dad is able to make it follow him its so neat. I got the coolest easter basket ever. Well happy Easter everyone. In case anyone is wondering I am still not feeling well. I guess thats enough about me don;t want to bore ya.

It's right there, right bottom there!

To all of you who doubted my abilily to grow a tooth......HAHA, I've shown you! Right, bottom came in today. For months you mocked me and asked "Where's your teeth?" You know who you are....mom, dad, uncle Chris. Only thing, I had to go and prove myself while I have this dumb cold. I still have a mild fever and I am the most miserable I have ever been! But, YES YES, I have a tooth.

Windchimes, kites and coyotes on ice-give me fever!

I'm 10 months old today! And I'm sick! No fun! Have a fever and runny nose.
What a great weekend we had! Mom made a rock garden and taught me about all of her windchimes. I LOVE music and was thrilled with the sound of the chimes. Dad and Jayde flew kites and WOW....... are those things cool or what?
Mom saw a coyote and a crow fighting out on the lake early this morning. It's like Wild Kingdom out here and mom is delighted!
Gotta go, I'm cranky now and might start ranting.

Man so much stuff to tell!

Well to start I have begun clapping and cheering, saying "yeahhhhhhhh!". I give kisses now, but I really have be in a cuddle mood. When its super time we all sit at the dinner table and watch the deer cross the frozen lake it's pretty cool I guess, I like eating much more than watchn them! The house is still kinda of mess but its feeling more like home everyday. We all seem to like it a lot, Sadie loves all new smells and actually going for walks with dad. She doesn't like to go far......*whispers*...."she kinda fat". Moms busy with me, and man I love giving her a run for money, I think I will be walking soon, I've been cruising asround and sometimes I stand still and let go of everything to see how long I can do it for. I have an obsession with lights and saying the word light or my form the word "Ight". Well dads got a bed time snack for me so I'm gonna go eat and go to bed night world.

Sweet Dreams!

Mom woke up to me quietly babbling in the night.....she peeked at me and I must have been having a happy dream 'cause.........I started clapping in my sleep!
I must have been dreaming about the lakehouse! Tomorrow is moving day!

Waving

Last night when dad was getting ready to give me a bath mom was stepping out after delivering me to dad and she waved bye-bye to me so I decided to do it back, man the reaction I got from both parents was amazing. So we did it a few more I think they were testing me, but I just wanted to see their reaction again. I'm trying to get the word dog out of mouth but "DAW" is all that comes out, and i'm tried to say "Jayde" other night when she was over but all that came out was "jaysch" in a whisper. I just came back from a walk with mom, LOVED IT!!! I can't wait for walks around the lake. Moms worried about wild animals, but still really excited!! I think we are all really excited and worried theres some heavy lifting and I don't dad can do it all by himself. As dad always says "we will always make it through!". tah-tah for now.

Our new friend; Operator Raymond

Mom's running around still packing frantically and I needed a diaper change. I wasn't cooperating with the changing and I grabbed the phone. Mom really upset me; she took the phone back and hung up!! Suddenly the phone rings back in her hand, mom answers and hears "Customer Care Services, Operator Raymond, how may I help you?" Neither one of us knows quite who I called but our new friend, Operator Raymond, shared a giggle with us today!!

Big Sis and I had movie night

Wow have I told you how much I love my big sis Jayde. She has just completed a babysitting safety course. Mom and Dad are very proud of her and she told us all kinds of info on how to care for an infant or child. I think she learned a lot and I will feel much safer if she ever watches me because she knows all kinds of numbers call in emergency. Our house is swirling mess packing mom clean and organized the whole garage today, and dad took a bunch of stuff to dump. I think mom deserves some props for her hard work today. Well mom has something thats smells great gonna go make a mess everywhere, til later yours truly Lil'Aly

House is frantic!

Moms running around all crazy like moving things here and other things there. Dad spent time with me outside cleaning up a mess he shoulda never made, sheesh these "grown ups". I dialed my Nana Ruth all by myself on the telephone yesterday but couldn't figure out how to use it after that, and I kept hearing a small voice saying "hello. . . . H E L L O. . . . . . . HELLO. . . . . . . . . .hello.........hello.". Wonder what that was about, hmmm oh well. Here is a little about me I'm 26 1/2"s tall and 18#s as of my 9 month check up. Mom and Dad keep asking me a strange question. They ask me "where's your teeth?". Dont' know exactly what they are talking about. Well I like to crawl everywhere I zip all thru the place, its not very big can't move too far. I'm getting pretty excited about this lakehouse mom & dad keep talking about they say its twice the size and I'm about ready to try this walking thing any day now!! I'm getting cranky and tired looks like mom needs to be put to sleep again(wink). Shout out to my new cousin Kenya LOTS OF LOVE Lil'Aly. Props to my bigger younger cuz Harmon you grow boy.
